We are working on getting some touring bands September 11th to be booked at the old 'Pod'; we haven't decided on a new name yet. We are looking into another show late Sept / early Oct. Stay tuned!

Purple Door music festival was tons of fun minus the lightning and rain. We were caught in a few of the biggest storms I have ever seen. A couple times I was forced to flee to my van and wait the storm out. Aside from the storms I heard some great music. Squad Five-0 played an amazing set. Everyone had a great time after the sun came out and Jeff Squad encouraged everyone to throw hay at each other in the pit. I saw Norma Jean who was fun to watch but not sure if I will ever get into the hardcore scene. The band that surprised me the most was mewithoutYou. They put on an excellent show and were very thankful to play on the main stage. They have a very odd heavy sound but the vocals are a cross between speaking and screaming. Its hard to describe but I think I like it. Hopefully they will play in Pittsburgh soon.

Last couple days I have really been trying to update the site. I added new blocks like the google search and indie music news, so enjoy! I have a couple more ideas I am trying to implement and when I have time I will add them. I am working on getting venues to book some shows this fall also. If you would like to be involved in that in anyway please let me know. Interview with hardcore kids Once Nothing coming soon!

On PittPunk.com they are running a contest featuring a band called The Kinison who is on Fearless Records. PittPunk is giving away the bands new CD "mortgage is bank" that is said to be for fans of At The Drive-In. Everybody knows I am a huge ATDI fan and couldn't resist listening to some of The Kinison mp3s. I have listened to all 3 tracks about 4 times now and I am really liking what I hear. If you need some new music take a listen to these guys and let me know what you think!

Tonights show was excellent! Ten Cent Glamour opened up with a great set. John can really play that fretless bass. Next SF Firehydrant really surprised me with some excellent guitar riffs and killer guitar harmonies. Gotta love two guitarist rockin out together. Definitely check these guys out if you haven't. Hopefully I can get a interview or something going with them. Fit The Mold played a pretty good set thanks to our good friend Jason who helped us sing on almost every song. Keep rocking the 724 my man!

Just got home from the show. It was a good time and it was great to see so many of our friends. Thanks to all the bands that played and help promote the show. Hopefully Kent will keep doing shows there. I think there was around 150 people there tonight which is great. If you want to help out with local shows in the Beaver County area please get in touch with us.

Tonight should be a fun night. Fit The Mold is playing with Ten Cent Glamour, The Good Life, The Gladstones, and Motion 2 Ratify. This will be The Good Life's first appearance! So I am pumped to see them. They are a brand new band from the Moon Twp / Hopewell area. I will get you some more details after the show about how they were and what they sound like. If you don't have anything better to do tonight come to the show... I will be running the food/drink stand!

Last night i went and saw The Rydells at Shippingport Community Center. I caught the last couple songs of their sweet set. I didn't have to pay to get in and The Rydells played Detriot Rock City. It was awesome!
